A Pittsburgh native, Jessica relocated to Michigan during high school where she began her restaurant experience. Her desire to cook was due to cooking the holiday meals for her family and seeing how pleased it made them.
After Jessica attended Pennsylvania Culinary she spent time at The Boca Raton Resort & Club, learning every aspect of the culinary world. When returning home to Pittsburgh, Jessica settled in at The Carlton restaurant where she quickly moved up to Sous Chef. This experience gave her all the knowledge she needed to be successful at the helm of Bistro 19.
Jessica’s appreciation for fine food fuels her passion to cook and create menus. Ultimately it’s the creative aspect that makes the culinary work so exciting. But the rewarding part of the job will always be the end result of happy guests. Jessica Gibson brings her unyielding dedication and passion as Executive Chef to Bistro 19.
